Description:
Our client, a luxury multi-brand watch retailer, seeks a high calibre and dynamic Retail Manager. We are looking for someone who has an entrepreneurial mindset is a strategic thinker, self- motivated and achievement focused. The successful candidate will play a key role in the construction of the retail business strategies which includes managing the existing business and developing new business relationships both end consumer and business to business.
You will be accountable for the sales success, the consumer marketing, merchandising and staff hiring, training and development. Our client represents a number of luxury brands and holds an enviable reputation and position on the market locally and internationally.
To meet the needs of this challenging and exciting role, we are looking for someone with a minimum of seven years retail/wholesale operations experience with strong leadership skills and proven sales achievements. The candidate must have staff management experience, including recruitment, training, development and performance management.
You will be required to formulate exciting and innovative business strategies and implement those plans successfully in conjunction with head office. You must possess a positive and vibrant energy, have proven communication skills and the ability to deal with a range of clients including the high net worth and ultra-high net worth category. Creative ideas are welcome and solution based thinking is a must.
An additional language, preferably mandarin would be an advantage yet certainly not essential for this role.
A competitive remuneration package will be offered in line with the successful candidate’s experience.
