Description:
Our client, a leading international luxury brand, is seeking a Finance Manager to join their house. This role will support the Finance Controller and finance team to ensure accurate management of all financial reporting and control processes.
A strong candidate will possess a clear customer focus, a drive for results, integrity and trust, strong business acumen, can manage diversity with the ability to problem solve with excellent communications in an effective retail environment.
Responsibilities include:
Management of a finance team
Production of accurate and timely management information including the management of month end and quarter end reporting (P&L and Balance Sheet)
Preparation of Budget and Revisions, including Inventory & cost of goods forecasting, P&L, Balance sheet and cash flow forecasting and reporting
Ongoing review of processes and procedure to determine area of improvements
Liaising with store network and external departments to provide ongoing support including accurate reporting as well as review of financial processes to ensure quality improvements for best practice and cost efficiency
Implementation and maintenance of Financial reporting systems
Documentation, implementation and management of appropriate Internal Controls
Ensure compliance of accounts reflect the completed FBT, GST and Income Tax returns and any significant taxation matters are understood
Essential knowledge : a tertiary qualification in Commerce or Economics, with ACA or CPA qualification; minimum 5 years management/leadership experience with 7 years responsible accounting and financial systems reporting experience; analytical and multi-tasking skills; excellent communication (verbal, written, presentation) and interpersonal skills; Mature business acumen with the ability to develop trust of Senior Management, experience within a premium fashion retail environment.
