Description:
Our client seeks a merchandise planner to report directly to buyers, assisting with analysis and maintenance of budgets, planning and buyer strategy. The role will require assisting to establish, and implementation of strategy, as well as purchase orders and stock policy.
The role will involve establishing, monitoring and implementing supplier fulfilment performance, as well as providing information to buyers to ensure basic stock policy and and procedure is applied.
The ideal candidate would be degree qualified, with 2-5 years merchandise planning experience. Strong retail acumen, numerical and analytical skills are essential, as well as strong negotiation and communication skills which will be highly regarded.
