Description:
Our client, a large and successful retail property group specialising in high end brands based in Beijing, China require an experienced Outlet Mall Manager, who will be immediately responsible for 12 buildings and approximately 160 brands, with existing plans for significant growth to expand over the next 3 years to at least 4 outlet malls.
Responsibilities extend to ensuring the shopping mall is operationally sound with excellent tenancy relationship mix and management; efficient, effective and relevant leasing and facility solutions. Key skills and experienced required are, Retail Mall management experience, ideally with Outlet Mall management experience, People management and international Brands network.
Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to; tenancy relationship management, operational and facilities management, marketing and financial responsibilities. In addition to innovative thinking and solutions based management and strong leadership skills.
You will be required to have least 3-5 years proven successful shopping centre/outlet mall management of premium properties, depth of knowledge in key tenant requirements, facilities and issues management. A depth of marketing knowledge and strong leadership skills are essential as this position heads an existing experienced and dynamic team.
Travel will be required to ensure each of the Outlet Mall(s) are running smoothly on a day to day basis and existing relationships are nurtured and new relationships are developed. An eye for detail across the fundamentals of successful centre/mall management both hygiene and emotive is necessary. Excellent English, written and spoken essential and an understanding of Chinese (Mandarin) would be advantageous yet not mandatory.
You will posses a flexible and adaptable personality given the pace of growth and change. You shall be able to travel at short notice, if required. Tertiary Qualifications in the fields of finance, marketing and general management are required.
