Description:
Located in Hong Kong, our client, a premium branded retailer of shoes, handbags and accessories, seeks a high calibre individual. You will be energetic and strive towards your best in both personal and professional development. The successful candidate will play a key role in the formulation of the business and brand strategies, oversee creative and product development, merchandising and direct retail as well as wholesale operations. The brand covers a wide range of fashion footwear and accessories which meet a superior standard of customer demands in the Asia Pacific region.
To meet the requirements of this challenging role, we are looking for someone with a minimum of ten years of retail/wholesale operations experience with strong leadership skills. The candidate will be required to formulate exciting and innovative business strategies and execute those plans successfully in conjunction with other country teams. Furthermore, you must possess resourcefulness and bring new ideas and solutions to the business.
The candidate shall also have a high level of business and financial acumen. Strong communication skills are essential in addition to the ability to lead and work with internal and external counterparts in order to identify issues and tactics that will boost sales and new business opportunities. Travel is required.
